Overview
Like Midjourney, Dall-E 3 (made by OpenAI) is also used in generating images from text descriptions, producing visuals that resemble human-made drawings, paintings, or photos. Unlike Midjourney, Dall-E is already integrated into many other tools, like ChatGPT, Bing, and others. This can make it extremely easy to use with no technical experience or barriers-to-entry whatsoever.
Usage
By typing in a description of the desired visual, Dall-E 3 instantly generates a graphic, making the creation of professional graphics, flyers, layouts, and visuals virtually effortless. This can be great for generating visuals that reflect a diverse and inclusive environment for your church.
What makes it unique
As mentioned, over recent weeks Dall-E 3 has been integrated into more and more tools and applications, presently making it the easiest tool to use for designing visuals. Midjourney, on the other hand, requires creating an account with Discord, and learning how to log in, and the command necessary to create an image. While not difficult, this creates more of a learning curve than Dall-E, which can be used to create professional-quality images in seconds.
That said, if possible, it may be worth learning both tools, as some images may turn out better with one tool or the other on a case-by-case basis.
